NGO Verification

Every piso you donate passes through organizations we’ve personally vetted. Here’s our rigorous, six-step partner verification process.

Step 1

SEC Registration Check

Every partner must be registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a non-stock, non-profit organization. We verify registration numbers against SEC's official database.

Step 2

Financial Audit Review

Partners must submit their most recent audited financial statements from an independent CPA firm. We review fund utilization rates, administrative overhead, and program expense ratios.

Step 3

On-Ground Verification

Our team conducts physical site visits to verify that the organization operates at its stated location and is actively running disaster relief or community programs.

Step 4

Community References

We collect feedback from local government units (LGUs) and community leaders to validate that the NGO has a positive track record in the communities it serves.

Step 5

Legal Compliance Check

Partners must demonstrate compliance with the DSWD, BIR, and PCNC requirements for charitable organizations operating in the Philippines.

Step 6

Ongoing Monitoring

Verification doesn't stop at onboarding. We conduct quarterly reviews, require monthly fund utilization reports, and perform surprise audits to ensure continued accountability.
